Orchid trap
While repotting a orchid given by her husband David, Iris finds an old key hidden in the pot. She traces it to a secret warehouse safe, where she discovers a note: “She must die, or I don’t get the inheritance.” This reveals David murdered his ex-wife Emily in a staged car accident and planned to kill Iris to claim Emily’s fortune. Iris gathers evidence, calls the police, and David is arrested and convicted. She refuses Emily’s $5 million inheritance, donating it to a women’s shelter. She divorces David, moves out, and opens her own flower greenhouse, rebuilding her life among plants. Core: flowers bloom, people survive—keys find their locks, and you will live on.
