Five years ago, Serena saved Ares, the exiled heir to the War God, and secretly gave birth to their daughter, Zoe. Five years later, Zoe's demigod blood awakens, drawing the attention of underworld factions. When mother and daughter are kidnapped, Serena's bracelet summons Ares from the battlefield. The God King returns, rescues his family, and declares war on the Council to break his daughter’s curse and uncover the truth behind his exile.
